Durham Cathedral is an Anglican Cathedral and the central church of the Diocese of Durham. We continue to support the cathedral to create bespoke product ranges that reflect the Cathedral’s history and values, after an 18 month product development project.

The visual impact, visitor feedback and sales figures were improved dramatically through this work, making a real difference to the main Cathedral Shop, as well as creating product ranges for a small pop-up shop within the Durham Cathedral Museum, and looking at other income generating initiatives.

From working with local artists to supporting community groups to input into the project, improving visual merchandising, to storytelling within the commercial spaces, the project made meaningful improvements to the visitor experience and Cathedral fundraising. One new range now accounts for around 25% of all takings within the Cathedral Shop.
