Project Director

Acting as Project Director of this major £16 million capital development that included the largest play structure in the world. The role lasted from securing funding and detailed planning permission in 2020 right through to the first two years of operation. The project has now been successfully delivered and has significantly enhanced the financial sustainability of the Trust that operates The Alnwick Garden, increasing revenues by 57% in its first year of operation.

We worked collaboratively on various aspects of the development of Lilidorei including management of external grant funding; business planning and financial forecasts; operational planning and day-today management; creating an immersive Christmas shop and food/drink outlets, improving groundbreaking soundscape created for the play village and an events strategy/programme.
